Hair transplant surgery is a procedure in which hair is moved from the occipital area, where the hair is permanent(donor area), to areas that are thinning or bald like on the front, top or the crown of the scalp(recipient area).
There are two different methods:
- 1. Incision method (FUT): there would be an incision line on the occipital area. The shaped scalp is going to be separated into small pieces and the hair follicles are divided carefully.
- 2. Non incision method (FUE): follicular units are removed one by one directly from the scalp through punches.
